The heavy hex bolt has traditionally been the most recognized type of structural fastener. The wide availability and variety of sizes and finishes make it a logical choice for a number of applications.

Approved by the AISC and RCSC for use in snug tightened and slip critical applications. In slip critical connections, heavy hex bolts may be installed using direct tension indicating washers, or the turn of the nut or calibrated wrench method.

Our heavy hex bolt are manufactured and tested to ASTM A325 and A490 specifications. Available from stock in sizes from 1/2" through 1-1/2" diameter, and lengths up to 9-1/2". Special orders for larger diameters or longer lengths can be manufactured with short lead times.
